The environment provides ecosystem services that support and sustain life on earth. According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, environment is the complex of physical, chemical, and biotic factors such as climate, soil, and living things, that act upon an organism or an ecological community and ultimately determine its form and survival while an ecosystem is a community of organisms interacting with each other and with the abiotic and nonliving components of the environment. Through this dynamic interaction, energy is exchanged and the cycling of important nutrients is facilitated. Changes in one of these components are bound to affect the others thus; it may affect the balance among the components. One main contributor is Solid waste refers to the range of garbage arising from human activities that are discarded as unwanted and useless. That is why we are lucky to have a school in which they really do incorporate to us the beauty of learning about helping and doing something for the environment with everyday projects like SINOP boxes, segregation of plastic bottles and also, our Ecobricks project. This project is all about management of our garbage by placing our plastic wastes into plastic bottles. It will make houses affordable, even for the unprivileged sector of our community.
